Alex Warren’s ‘Ordinary’ Is the U.K.’s No. 1 Single for 10th Consecutive Week
He now holds the longest running No. 1 in the U.K. since 2023.

Alex Warren is closing in on chart history as “Ordinary” hits a 10th consecutive week at No. 1 on the U.K.’s Singles Chart dated May 23.
By heading into double-figures, he now matches Harry Styles’ “As It Was” (2022), Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” (2023) and Dave and Central Cee’s “Sprinter”(2023) as one of the U.K.’s longest running chart-toppers of the 2020s, with all four tracks hitting 10 weeks at the top. Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” holds the longest streak in the decade thus far with an 11-week stay at the summit in 2021.
“Ordinary” currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, behind Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther.” Warren’s track is in its third week atop Billboard Global 200, and recently topped the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for the first time. The news dovetails with the release of a his new track, “Bloodline” with Jelly Roll.
Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” holds steady at No. 2, and Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” is a non-mover at No. 3. New York’s sombr’s “undressed” hits a new high at No. 4.
The success of rising pop act Skye Newman’s debut tracks — “Family Matters” (No. 8) and “Hairdresser” (No. 16) — makes her the first British female solo artist in over a decade to chart her first two singles inside the top 20 simultaneously. Jessie J was the last to achieve the feat with “Do It Like a Dude” and “Price Tag” in 2011.
Charli xcx’s “Party 4 U” reaches a new high at No. 19 five years on from its original release on 2020 LP How I’m Feeling Now, while Lola Young’s “Messy” follow-up song “One Thing” debuts at No. 25.
Despite finishing 19th at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, the U.K.’s entry Remember Monday sees its track “What the Hell Just Happened?” make a top 40 debut, ending the week at No. 31.
