Americans flocked to Nashville for ‘mind-blowing’ Porsche GT3 deal that seems too good to be true

This group of Americans flocked to Nashville for a ‘mind-blowing’ Porsche GT3 deal that they found on Facebook Marketplace, which seems too good to be true.

They decided to go directly to the seller in Nashville in order to not pay Copart fees and managed to get a completely astounding deal, paying $145,000 for the Porsche GT3 which had only been raced five times.

The interior was in exquisite condition apart from the airbags which had been deployed in the crash which ruined the rest of the supercar.

When the team of YouTubers got it back to their garage, they realized that the damage may have been worse than they realized and the ‘mind-blowing’ deal might not have been as mind-blowing as they previously thought.

Is the Porsche GT3 deal too good to be true?

This group of YouTubers stumbled across a ‘mind-blowing’ Porsche GT3 deal on Facebook Marketplace and hotfooted it to Nashville to buy it directly from the seller.

When they got to see the supercar, they found it in a weird condition. The interiors were completely exquisite, but the exterior had suffered a lot of crash damage.

The Porsche GT3 came with a broken suspension knuckle, cracked rear glass, twisted caliper, and minor frame concerns.

After the Goon Squad team found a bit of front tub damage on the Porsche’s underbody, they decided to happily fork over $145,000 believing that all of the damage was fixable.

Was the supercar as ‘mind-blowing’ as it seemed when they bought it?

When they got the Porsche GT3 to their garage, the team was pleased to discover performance upgrades like coilovers and lowering springs. They also noticed tally marks showing it had been tracked less than five times.

However, they also discovered that the extent of the damage was worse than they originally thought.

In addition, the aluminium construction made fixing the damage complicated because incorrect pulls could cause major damage.

They decided to order a new support bar to start their rebuild. Hopefully the Porsche will then prove itself and its ‘mind-blowing’ reputation.
