Superyachts are a staple buy for most of the world’s richest people.

Aside from sprawling mansions and super-fast hypercars, floating palaces are also at the top of the to-buy list.

For example, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg recently purchased a new $23 million mansion in Washington DC.

Plus, Hollywood director Steven Spielberg splashed the cash on a 357‑foot superyacht.

However, this particular superyacht is truly exceptional.

It’s called Savannah, and this flashy superyacht boasts a top speed of 18 knots and a stunning exterior.

The last known asking price for the floating paradise amounted to over $150 million.

“The world’s first hybrid superyacht, Savannah combines an eco-friendly electro-mechanical propulsion with a streamlined hull to offer major fuel savings and dazzling flexibility of operation and power plant loading,” manufacturer Feadship stated.

It was built in 2015, and even though it’s not the biggest superyacht around, all 83.5 ft of it still commands attention.

Savannah’s most recent owner was Lukas Lundin, a businessman who passed away in 2022.

The boat can house up to 12 guests, and has six staterooms – so there’s ample room for entertaining and socializing.

The superyacht is the result of innovation between Studio De Voogt and CG Design, with the naval architect Feadship De Voogt Naval bringing the work to fruition.

“Whisper-quiet when cruising in battery mode, she cuts an unmissable figure with her ‘floating’ superstructure and metallic green exterior,” the company continued.

“The giant open inside/ outside space formed by the aft owner and main deck areas rewrote the definition of being at one with the sea, as did her semi-submerged Nemo lounge.”

The boat’s spectacular features include a huge rectangular swimming pool and a sprawling sun deck.

But, don’t just take our word for it – the floating paradise has also won lots of awards.

Topping the trophy case is the title of ‘Motoryacht of the year’ at the World Superyacht Awards, and the boat also managed to bag the ‘Best Power 65m+ yacht’ at the ISS Awards 2016 too.
