The Blockchain Developer Festival, a.k.a the Blockchain DevFest, is a developer-focused event, including a 3-day virtual and a 2-day physical event culminating in a hackathon, keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, awards ceremony, and a dinner party. The conference, hosted on the 27th and 28th of June, will bring together developers, ambitious students from universities across Africa, visionary founders, investors, VCs, government representatives, and accelerators. It’ll be hosted at the National ICT Hub and Motiv in Kampala, Uganda. There will be a week-long hackathon that will contain key tracks that align well with the hosting sponsors’ focus, with the final 2 days held physically, including a pitch and demo day on 27th June. Builders will submit projects to the tracks selected. They will be incentivized to find ways to build integrated solutions spanning across technology stacks and verticals to maximize their chances of winning. The conference will take place on 28th June, where we will have a panel, round table discussions, keynote speeches, and more. Who Should Join? The Blockchain Devfest is open to all people in tech and non-tech persons ranging from developers,engineers (Web2 & Web3), Blockchain startups and tech entrepreneurs, designers, product managers, analysts, students, and enthusiasts curious about Web3.
