BMW reveals 523hp M4 Nürburgring edition but only for the Chinese market
The German-based car is only available in China? The post BMW reveals 523hp M4 Nürburgring edition but only for the Chinese market appeared first on Supercar Blondie.

Shanghai Auto 2025 has brought us some fantastic reveals, including the new 523HP BMW M4 Nürburgring edition, but unfortunately for fans of the car, it’s available only for the Chinese market.
Limited to just 53 units, the special edition is said to commemorate BMW’s 53-year partnership with the iconic Nürburgring racing circuit.
It seems slightly confusing that the limited edition supercar based on a collaboration with a German racetrack will only be available in China, but the car itself is truly spectacular.
It’s equipped with a 3-liter twin-turbo engine and has no performance upgrades, but comes in a green that’s reminiscent of the race track’s ‘green hell’ catchphrase.

The BMW M4 Nürburgring edition is only available in China
We have seen some truly spectacular supercar and tech reveals during our time at Shanghai Auto this year, including a Mercedes-Benz Vision V and even flying cars.
BMW had its own car show unveiling of a brand new limited edition M4, the M4 Nürburgring Edition, celebrating 53 years of collaboration with the iconic German racetrack.
But there’s a catch for those who want to get their hands on one of these. They’re only available in China, and only 53 will ever be made.
Seems slightly odd that a supercar produced to celebrate a collaboration with a German racetrack is made just for the Chinese market, right?
But that only makes the people who saw it at Shanghai Auto all the more lucky.
What makes it so special?
The BMW M4 Nürburgring Edition is painted in a shiny green as a homage to the German race track’s famous moniker of ‘green hell’, given to it by the legendary Jackie Stewart.
It also comes with a red accent kidney grille, red brake callipers, and awesome bronze wheels. And you can also find the Nürburgring track embroidered on the supercar’s headrests.
The supercar is equipped with a 3-liter twin-turbo engine producing 523HP.
This, though, comes as standard with a BMW M4, and the limited edition version doesn’t come with any performance upgrades. It just looks cool.
The M4 Nürburgring edition will hit the Chinese market at 1,088,000 Chinese Yuan, which comes to around $150,000 USD.
It’s clearly a beautiful machine. And we’re totally not jealous of people who have access to this supercar…not one bit.
