“I chose the American Idol theme for Carrie’s Country because I’m always looking for new themes to represent the months or time of year we’re in,” Carrie says during the May 2025 countdown. “And right now my world is so enveloped in ‘AMERICAN IDOL.’ Again, 20 years after I was a contestant.”
