Former Mercedes F1 driver Valtteri Bottas took delivery of $3 million Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale

Decorated F1 star and current reserve driver for Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas, has just taken delivery of $3 million Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.

For a man who has managed ten race wins in an era with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen on the circuit, you might expect that Valtteri Bottas is an all-out speed-hunting supercar fanatic.

But you’d only be half right, as the F1 star turned coffee roaster, gin distiller, and winemaker seems to have an appetite for the finer things in life, too.

So, how do you roll up speed and class? Well, his brand-new $3m Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale does that pretty damn well.

Valtteri Bottas receives the keys to his new $3m Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale

Alfa Romeo has made some magnificent entries back into the supercar genre recently, and its new EV will surely be snapped up by celebrities.

But the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is the pinnacle of its modern-day ethos.

With a harmonious twin-turbo V6 shouting 740bhp, and a rounded look that screams Italian finery, the 33 Stradale has now begun shipping to its limited customers.

One of those is Valtteri Bottas, who was originally contracted to the manufacturer when production began for the car, having been the first seat driver for Stake (the naming sponsor for Alfa Romeo) in 2023.

And it’s clear that he had some input, as the brand handed over the keys to his new $3 million supercar with a firm handshake and a nice note on social media.

“A dream, delivered,” the manufacturer said on Instagram.

“We had the honor of handing over the keys of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale to Valtteri Bottas. A unique piece, personally customized by him — the result of a journey we proudly completed together. Let’s keep dreaming, Valtteri.”

The car itself appears to be quite close to the stock design, with a few Bottas tidbits on the bodywork, but there’s likely to be a few more customized surprises that we’ve not been shown.

Bottas’ garage is bursting with class

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale will likely be parked next to its cousin, the Giulia GTAm, in his garage.

Much like other Formula 1 stars whose supercar collections are wild, Valtteri Bottas has a magnificent array of high-class beauties under his ownership.

As a Mercedes driver, he often sports the AMG One, which he actually bought with his cash, unlike teammate Kimi Antonelli; the prodigy was given his as a signing bonus, although he was too young to drive it at the time.

Bottas also owns a Ferrari F8 Tributo, a McLaren 675LT, a Ferrari F40, a Mercedes AMG GT Black Series (P1 Edition), and a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.

Not too bad, huh?

Bottas has been linked with a return to the F1 hotseat for quite some time, either by way of stepping in at Mercedes for the exciting yet inexperienced Antonelli this year, or as a driver for Cadillac when the team enters in 2026.
