This Georgia man got so bored that he turned a wrecked Corvette C7 into a flame-throwing Mad Max monster.
Mike Mahdi was visited by Max Moskal, from the Subdivision Auto YouTube channel, and showed off his wild creation.
There was no elaborate backstory to how this titan came to be.
Mahdi simply got bored one day and decided this was the way to go.

This wrecked Corvette C7 took on a whole new life
This car started out as a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe, which had ended up wrecked at some point in its life.
When Mahdi bought it, it needed a bumper and a fender.
But what he did to it was a little more extravagant than that.
“We started beefing up the aluminum frame,” he recalled.
“It’s straight beef, if you wanted to plum it through the wall, the wall’s not going to stop this thing.
“It’s going to crack the concrete barriers, honestly.”
There was no grand plan or moment of inspiration either.
“I wanted a Corvette, but then I didn’t want your granddaddy’s Corvette,” Mahdi said.
“I wanted something safe, because in stock Corvettes, if you hit anything, you’re done for.
“I wanted something you could plow through, but you can’t do that with aluminum, so I just threw a bunch of steel on there to see what happens.
“We got bored one day really.”
The car‘s design has gone through at least five iterations.
As it currently stands, it’s 91 inches wide – immense compared to the 69 that a stock Corvette would be sitting at.
With regards to weight, this car weighs in at 4,300Ibs.
This thing is large, in charge, and looks like it came from Mars.
And if a recent Instagram post is anything to go by, this C7 is set to get some flamethrowers soon.
If you want your car to make a statement, ‘Mad Max’ is the way to go
Let’s be honest, Mad Max cars are in a league of their own.
The iconic dystopian sci-fi series did a lot of things – made Mel Gibson a household name and gave the world an awesome Tina Turner song, for example.
But it also inspired tons of gearheads to turn their own vehicles into desert-riding beasts.
Whether it be in Indonesia with Vespas or in Philadelphia with broken-down Fords, plenty of cars are getting the Mad Max treatment.
Sometimes cars get that look unintentionally, as happened with this Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II concept or this Exotruck with a Subaru drivetrain.
One of the films ran with the tagline ‘Only the mad survive’.
In the world of rough and tumble cars, that couldn’t be more true.
