The museum renovations included a reimagining of the Hall of Famers Gallery and the Celebration Gallery, two areas that celebrate the sport’s history and take visitors on a journey through decades of tennis history. The Hall of Famers Gallery honors every Hall of Famer inducted into the hall and a key symbol of the renovation is a cast racket for every inductee. The Celebration Gallery features unique artifacts and tells the stories of generations, including with an augmented reality experience. “We are ecstatic to unveils these innovative, interactive spaces in the museum and are grateful to those who partnered with us to preserve the history of the game and accomplish these renovations,” says Dan Faber, CEO of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. “We cannot wait to welcome fans from around the world to Newport and our facility to celebrate tennis history and honor some of the sport’s most transformative champions.” A renovated International Tennis Hall of Fame offers a fresh perspective on tennis history.
