LAMC Unveils 2025 Wonder Women of Latin Music Honorees
Twenty women, including Billboard's Jessica Roiz, will be recognized this year.
The Latin Alternative Music Conference will honor a group of 20 women in the 2025 LAMC Wonder Women of Latin Music program. The list features a wide-ranging group, including journalists, publicists and executives from multiple areas of the music business that will be recognized in partnership with Amazon Music.
Now in its sixth edition, the LAMC Wonder Women of Latin Music list has recognized more than 100 women in the industry. This year’s class — which includes Jessica Roiz, Billboard‘s assistant editor, Latin — will be recognized with a special award, and the LAMC will also host a Wonder Women of Latin Music panel presented by Amazon Music as part of this year’s LAMC in New York City on July 8-12.
“As we embark on the sixth consecutive year of the Wonder Women of Latin Music awards in collaboration with LAMC, I am once again thrilled to commemorate the remarkable women of our industry,” Rocío Guerrero, global head of music, Latin – Iberia for Amazon Music, said in a statement. “We must continue acknowledging, uplifting, celebrating and expressing our deep appreciation for these pioneers that continue to push Latin music to new heights.”
In addition to Billboard‘s Roiz being honored this year, past honorees have included Leila Cobo, Billboard’s chief content officer for Latin/Español; Sigal Ratner-Arias, deputy editor of Billboard Español; Griselda Flores, Billboard‘s senior editor, Latin; Isabela Raygoza, associate editor of Billboard Español; and Florencia Mauro of Billboard Argentina.
The list, which is curated by the LAMC, celebrates “women making a difference in the industry.” Check out the full list of 2025 honorees below:
