Hey, y’all, we’re backstage at Billboard Women in Music with the one and only Meghan Trainor, the multi-hyphenate herself. Obviously, I’m very biased towards you, because I’m in love with you. 

Meghan Trainor:

I love you. 

But how do you feel being here at Billboard Women in Music?

Oh, imposter syndrome. I don’t know. I’m scared. I- my goal was to make friends tonight. I don’t know if I did, but I put a good word out there that was, like, if anyone wants to do a sleepover, give me a call.  

I said I’d put my best self forward.

Oh my God. I was so nervous when I did it, and now I can, like, finally, sweat.

Right. It’s crazy to hear you say that because you’re Meghan Trainor, so- 

That means nothing. That’s like when your teacher yells at you and you’re like, “Oh I’m in trouble!”

Oh, well, I think you’re fabulous. Anyone would be lucky to be friends with you. I’m one of them. OK, so I do have some fun questions for you. OK, so I’m gonna give you some flowers.
