The summit took place in Kochi, Kerala, as part of the Kerala Innovation Festival 2025 (KIF). This was India’s largest government-backed innovation gathering, organized by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) and designed to be the gateway for the country’s next wave of Web3 innovators. Marking a decade of KSUM, this year’s event took place from July 25 to July 26, and attracted more than 10,000 attendees, including developers, students, startups, investors, and public-sector leaders from across India. By joining, MEXC Ventures is investing in long-term community development as well as growing its visibility in a market projected to hit at least 156 million users by 2027. MEXC Ventures backed the W3K segment, which showcases the real-world potential of decentralized technologies to India’s next generation of innovators. The initiative featured immersive experiences across several zones. The main stage is where talks, panels, and fireside chats took place, bringing together ecosystem enablers. The event also featured an interactive arena for gaming enthusiasts, where they got to experience several crypto-native Web3 games, including popular titles like Off the Grid, Shutterline, and Paradise Tycoon, all built on Avalanche. Those looking for more practical experience joined a mentor-led workshop zone.
