Paris’ We Love Green Fest Partners With AEG & Combat, With Eye on International Growth
The sustainability-focused French festival says the partnership will allow it to expand and explore new sustainability initiatives.

Paris’ We Love Green festival has entered a strategic partnership with AEG Presents and Combat, a Paris-based independent media and culture organization, with an eye to expanding its reach internationally.
The festival was founded in 2010 by French creative agency and festival producer We Love Art, French festival and tour producer Corida and the longstanding French label Because Music Group. Over the years, it’s hosted artists including Tyler, the Creator, LCD Soundsystem, Rosalia, Björk, Justice and many more, with its current iteration drawing roughly 120,000 attendees over three days. The 2025 edition of the event was held June 6-8 with headliners Tiakola, Charli xcx and FKA twigs.
In addition to extending its international presence, the new partnership with AEG and Combat is designed to provide We Love Green with resources to grow and explore new sustainability initiatives. A rep for the festival says that We Love Green organizers are already planning the 2026 event and will announce details about “the festival’s new ambitions, both in France and internationally” this fall.
True to its name, We Love Green is deeply focused on sustainability. As stated in a 2011 purpose statement, the event aims to “develop and promote eco-citizenship and raise awareness of sustainable development, by designing, producing and organizing artistic events in the field of live performance.” At the festival, these initiatives take the shape of limiting production and waste, reducing the carbon footprint of fan travel, serving 100% vegetarian food to guests and staff, and preserving the ecosystem of Bois de Vincennes, Paris’ largest public park, where We Love Green takes place. The festival is also powered by 100% renewable energy.
These efforts earned We Love Green the Green Operation Award by the European Festival Association, Yourope, in 2024, and certification in the “Outstanding” category every year of its existence by the non-profit A Greener Festival.
“This partnership marks a new chapter in the history of We Love Green,” said Marie Sabot, the director of We Love Green and founder of We Love Art. “It will help us amplify our values alongside partners who share our vision of a creative, responsible, and ever-evolving festival.”
“We Love Green has always been fueled by artistic ambition and environmental responsibility,” added Because Group founder Emmanuel de Buretel. “We’re excited to now embed it within a collective momentum that will help to develop and respect the brand worldwide.”
“This is more than a partnership — it is a strategic alliance that reflects our belief in the power of culture to drive change,” says Combat president and founder Mathieu Pigasse. “At Combat, we are reaffirming our commitment to society, diversity and inclusion. We are also investing in cultural formats that reflect our times and help shape the future. With AEG at our side, we are bringing the scale, resources and ambition needed to elevate We Love Green while preserving its singular identity.”
“Emmanuel and the entire We Love Green team have built a festival that is one of the marquee live events in Europe,” added Jay Marciano, chairman and CEO of AEG Presents. “I’ve known Emmanuel for quite some time and have always respected his vision and taste. I’m delighted that we get to work together in this new partnership.”
