The Porsche Macan has been a staple of the company’s range for some time.

What is new on the 2026 Porsche Macan?
One of the most intriguing aspects of the new Macan EV is the integration of Near Field Communication (NFC).
NFC is normally used for contactless payments using your phone.
It allows owners to unlock and start the car without even taking the phone out of their pocket.
Apple Watch users will also be able to do the same thing.
Perhaps more interestingly, there is the new Trained Parking function.
This new feature allows owners of the Macan EV to record and log their own parking routines.
That can be either parking in a garage at home or parking at work.
Once the crossover learns the routines, it can park itself upon arrival at the destination.
Gaming in the 2026 Macan EV
While it might not be considered a ‘needed’ feature, the Macan does have something that allows you to pass some time.
A standout is the AirConsole, accessed via the Porsche App Center.
This allows those in the car to play games and even use their smartphones as a controller.
Games can be played while the car is parked, but the front passenger can do so when the car is on the move.
Thanks to a privacy feature on the screen, drivers won’t get distracted by any gaming.
Porsche said various games would be available on the console, including racing games.
Perhaps more useful is the extra towing capacity, up to 5,500lbs, an increase of 1,100lbs from the previous model.
So for those looking to buy a Macan EV, a car selling well already, there is a lot to be excited about. The post Porsche’s new 2026 Macan EV can park itself, tow more, and even let you game inside appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
