A 1969 Chevrolet Corvette sports car located in Florida has done so many miles that its odometer has spun over three times.
This remarkable sports car is a rare example of a breed usually tucked away in a garage or only driven on sunny days.
The owner of this car has kept it on the road for over a decade, and it’s been going strong ever since it was first sold in 1969.
This might be the highest mileage Corvette anywhere in the world, and it’s surely a contender for the most reliable.

The car belongs to Richard Cole, and he has made the sports car his daily driver for over 15 years.
Whether it was sunny or raining, Cole would always find himself behind the wheel of the Chevrolet.
This 1969 Corvette is from the C3 generation, and it was sold as new from the dealership at $4,100 in 1969.
When it was brand new, the car had a 350ci small-block V8 under the hood, making 300HP and 380LB-FT of torque.
The Corvette also has a four-speed manual transmission, and Cole has even gotten the car to 18MPG on the highway.
That compares favorably to more modern versions of the car.
In total, this incredible Corvette has racked up over 340,000 miles since the late 1960s. That’s enough to turn the odometer back to zero three times over.
As such, it’s not the original engine under the hood, but a 350ci Corvette crate motor from 1973.
The engine went into the sports car after it had racked up 150,000 miles.
Its new engine had a bigger bore and a few other changes to maximize the power.
But the transplant has retained the original DNA of the car.
This is thanks to it being almost identical to the original.
Even with over 300,000 miles on the clock, Cole hasn’t parked his sports car up just yet.
The Corvette is often seen at automotive shows and events, and its owner clearly gets a lot of enjoyment out of driving it so much.
You can’t help but be in awe of this amazing Chevrolet.
Hopefully, it can add another few hundred thousand miles to its odometer. The post This 1969 Corvette in Florida has done so many miles the odometer has spun over three times appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
