After being rejected from a 4th of July party and reduced to tears, Nicole posted a video explaining what had just happened to her. Nicole said that she was new to her neighborhood and was invited to a party by the mother of her son’s friend, Samantha. This party was hosted by a local couple, Jake and Stasia Hicks. Nicole prepared an antipasto to bring to the party, containing homegrown vegetables and a variety of meats and cheese. According to Nicole, once she and her son arrived they were greeted with hostility—she was told that Jake was furious that a stranger had entered his house. Nicole claims that despite her attempts to be friendly and introduce herself, she was made to feel unwelcome, as though she had shown up uninvited. Hence, Nicole left the party, despondent at having been rejected and confused at the cold reception.
