Check out this wild hybrid Cybertruck tribute that’s known as the Cybercop and began life as a Toyota Prius.

Launched in 1997, the Toyota Prius was the world’s first mass-produced hybrid car.

Almost three decades later, millions have been sold across more than 90 markets around the world.

But we bet you’ve never seen one like this before.

The Cybercop hybrid Cybertruck recently sold online

Since it began rolling off the production line in late 2023, we’ve seen several DIY tributes to the Tesla Cybertruck, like this one that was made out of trash, and this one that was built around a 1998 Jeep Cherokee

Meanwhile, over in Utah, someone took a 2004 Toyota Prius and decided to convert it into the world’s first hybrid Cybertruck, known as the Cybercop

The man behind the Cybercop said he was inspired to build it to ‘poke a little fun at a recent Cyber-something that was released’.

He started off the project by buying a 2004 Toyota Prius in good working condition and spent four months converting it into the one-of-a-kind hybrid Cybertruck

He went on to say that, as you might expect, the Cybercop is a real head turner and that he often takes it along to car shows and charity events.

The creator recently listed the Cybercop on eBay with 100 percent of the money raised going to Utah’s 10-33 Foundation, an organization that assists the families of fallen officers.

The one-off hybrid vehicle runs well, with the seller confirming there are ‘no drips, no leaks, it doesn’t smoke, and it operates under its own power’.

The Cybercop also came with the custom plates and a couple of key fobs.

In the end, the hybrid Cybertruck Toyota Prius mashup sold for $4,550, which seems like a bit of a bargain for such an unusual and interesting vehicle.

And it was all for a very good cause.

OK, so you’ve seen the Cybercop but how about the CyberRoadster?

The seller of the Cybercop warned in his listing that the hybrid Cybertruck gets attention wherever it goes, which is an experience shared by the guy who built this unique CyberRoadster

YouTuber and car enthusiast David Andreyev – AKA Cyber Hooligan – spent years building his own CyberRoadster.

The car is a unique mix of a Tesla Cybertruck and a Tesla Model 3.

Its owner says that whenever he’s out on the streets of LA, people stop, stare, comment, and film his custom-build. And who can blame them? It’s not everyday you see something like that rolling along. The post World’s first hybrid Tesla Cybertruck known as the Cybercop is an old Toyota Prius and just sold on eBay appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
