Xiaomi delivers more than 30,000 vehicles in July to reach highest ever monthly total

Xiaomi delivered a record number of vehicles in July 2025, including both the SU7 sedan and the YU7 SUV.

The company delivered over 30,000 units, a 20 percent month-on-month increase.

Not bad for a brand that only sold smartphones until not long ago.

And there’s another reason why Xiaomi made headlines.

How Xiaomi delivered 30,000 vehicles in a month

The record number is partly explained by the fact that, for the first time, Xiaomi was able to deliver not just SU7 sedans but also YU7 SUVs, which is a new vehicle.

The company can achieve this prodigious output chiefly thanks to its ultra-advanced factory.

According to Xiaomi, a new car is produced every 76 seconds.

These vehicles are being been mass-ordered around China, rivaling its competitors like Tesla.

And there’s another reason why automakers are worried.

Ferrari is also paying attention

A Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, the range-topping and performance-focused variant of SU7, was spotted in Maranello, Ferrari’s home.

No one knows for sure whether Ferrari bought it or rented it or borrowed it, but what we do know for certain is this can only mean one thing.

It means Ferrari is going to reverse engineer the SU7 Ultra.

This is nothing new, automakers test vehicles built by other manufacturers all the time.

Ford did it with SU7, Porsche and Ford did with the Tesla Cybertruck and so on.

But it’s still a big deal.

Ferrari is busy building its own electric car, and we know very little about it yet.

We know it’ll have a ‘fake’ engine sound, and we know that Ferrari has been testing it extensively.

So if the people who run one of the most important and iconic car brands in the world decide to test your car, it means you’re doing a good job.
