Youngboy Never Broke Again Cancels Second Atlanta MASA Show
The rapper previously called off shows in Chicago on Sept. 24 and Detroit on Oct. 6 before scratching out Saturday's (Oct. 18) gig.
Young Boy Never Broke Again‘s MASA tour has hit another speed bump. The “Green Dot” rapper’s second of two planned shows at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Saturday (Oct. 18) has been canceled with a message from Ticketmaster reading, “unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event” with no further explanation offered at press time.

It’s the third show on the rapper’s Make America Slime Again (MASA) tour that has fallen off the roster of the 27-date outing in support of Youngboy’s eighth studio album, MASA. A planned Sept. 24 show at the United Center in Chicago as part of the MC’s first-ever headlining arena tour was canceled by the venue the day before the gig with little explanation.
“The United Center has made the decision to cancel the NBA YoungBoy show scheduled for Wednesday, September 24 in Chicago,” the United Center wrote in a message at the time. “If you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller, please reach out to your point of purchase.”
The cancellation came after the home of the Chicago Bulls implemented a stricter bag policy, which would ban fans from bringing bags of any kind to the Youngboy show. YoungBoy’s manager, Alex Junnier, called out the venue for the last-minute cancellation on his IG Story, saying, “@UnitedCenter bitched out. Shoutout to Joe Myhra @UnitedCenter. He didn’t want us to have fun. scary.”
In addition, an Oct. 6 Youngboy show at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit was waved off due to “unforeseen circumstances.” At press time spokespeople for Youngboy Never Broke Again and State Farm Arena had not returned Billboard‘s request for comment on the Atlanta show cancellation.
