A new delete kit for Tesla Cybertruck mirrors has been released, but only if you are in certain states in America.

The company behind the delete kit is Tesbors, and their solution is really simple and ensures there is no horrible hole left over when the mirrors are removed.

Remarkably, there are states in America that will allow you to drive a Cybertruck with just one or no wing mirrors at all.

But if that is what you want to do with your Cybertruck, then this might be the kit you’ve been looking for.

There have been some consumers who don’t like the look of the EV’s mirrors, hence the need for a delete kit.

This is because Tesla initially announced the truck would have no mirrors, but state laws required them to be added.

Once the mirror is removed, however, it leaves an ugly hole in the Cybertruck‘s body.

And there’s nothing to cover it up.

That’s where Tesbros came in with their new cover.

It also features a bracket similar to the one the original mirror used.

This follows in the footsteps of owners who’ve been personalising their trucks, like the one that’s wrapped in solar panels, for instance. But the company went above and beyond to create its mirror delete.

They even used steel from a scrap Cybertruck door, so the colors matched as closely as possible.

However, the team behind it only had enough material for 80 kits.

For now, they are a limited edition, and they were priced at $299, which doesn’t make them a bargain.

But they did sell out very quickly, proving there is enough demand for delete kits for the Cybertrucks.

What could swing whether more kits are produced is the various laws surrounding mirrors in different states.

Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, and Montana state laws don’t explicitly require mirrors in their legislation.

However, many other states require at least one wing mirror, with the vast majority requiring both to be in place.

The kit might need some refinement, however, after some users spoke about it on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum.

One user reported that the adhesive holding the piece to the stainless steel soon gave way.

The cover flew off on the highway, but they were able to get a replacement that worked fine. The post A new delete kit gets rid of the Tesla Cybertruck’s wing mirrors, but only in certain states appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
