This 1970 Porsche 911 is hiding a small-block Chevy V8 engine under the hood and was created using a classic conversion kit.
The unusual vehicle was placed up for sale in Los Angeles, with a low asking price.
The car was converted around 40 years ago, which is around the same time it’s been parked.
The seller of the Porsche 911/Chevrolet mash-up says the car could be refreshed and revived as it is, or restored back to its original form.

If you’re in the market for a weird and wonderful vehicle, then places such as Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and eBay are a real treasure trove.
Just take at this Mazda wrapped to look like Lightning McQueen from Cars, or this road-legal boat-car that can do just about everything except go out onto the water.
Over on Craigslist recently, an LA motorist put this unusual Chevy-powered 1970 Porsche 911 up for sale.
The car was made using a Rod Simpson Hybrids conversion kit four decades ago.
Images shared with the listing appear to show that whoever carried out the conversion did a decent job.
The rear bumper had to be removed to make way for the V8, and it’s been given some wide fender flares to the front and rear.
When the conversion was carried out, the Porsche had 37,000 miles on the clock.
Four decades on, the odometer reads 37,480 miles, with the seller explaining that it’s spent the last 40 or so years parked in a ‘clean garage’.
The paintwork, which features flames and a painting of a scantily clad woman, is in solid condition, and the car has all its original glass.
The inside is a bit of a different story and has been stripped bare. Even the floor coverings are gone.
It does appear to have been given a new custom instrument cluster, and aside from that, what remains appears to be original.
The seller, who has since removed the listing, put an asking price of $22,000 for the Porsche.
In the listing, he said the car could be restored as is, or it could be taken back to its original form.
