Billionaire Bill Gates quietly purchased a swanky street in Florida to help his daughter, Jennifer Gates, pursue her dreams of becoming an elite show jumper.
The Microsoft founder was once the richest man in the world.
Today, he’s the 13th richest person alive and has a net worth of $115.1 billion.
Gates and his ex-wife, Melinda, have three kids together: Jennifer, Phoebe, and Rory.

The billionaire has previously said his kids will receive only a small fraction of his fortune as inheritance, as he wants to make sure they go through life knowing the value of money.
“I definitely think leaving kids massive amounts of money is not a favor to them…
“Some people disagree with this, but Melinda and I feel good about it,” Bill Gates said during a 2013 Reddit Ask Me Anything session.
However, while he may have earmarked most of his impressive fortune for good causes, it seems he’s still happy to splash the cash when it comes to helping his kids go far in life.
So much so that he acquired a whole street in the exclusive equestrian enclave Mallet Hill Court, where daughter Jennifer Gates could practice in complete privacy.
It all started in 2012, when the Gates rented a property on the street in Wellington, Florida, while Jennifer was training to become a showjumper.
The following year, Gates bought the five-acre horse farm for $8.7 million, the Daily Mail reports.
Between 2012 and 2016, Gates bought up the rest of the properties on the street, which included a newly built mansion and a couple of empty plots.
Former neighbor Stuart Roffman, who sold his property on Mallet Hill to Gates, said the billionaire craved privacy.
“He is all about privacy,” he told the publication in 2016.
“Despite the fact it had very few residents and a gate, there was some traffic on the street. Between trucks transporting horses, stable hands, grooms, and house staff, that’s a lot of people on a small street.
“At times, you could see half a dozen vehicles parked by the barn on Bill’s property, and it felt a little tight.
“Now, he can level his barn and use the property he bought from me to board his horses.”
Jennifer Gates has since married professional equestrian Nayel Nassar and was gifted a huge 124-acre equestrian estate in New York.
As well as still being a keen equestrian, Jennifer has also smashed her academic studies and is on track to become a pediatrician. The post Bill Gates bought a farm, a mansion, then a $38m street to shield his daughter’s equestrian training appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
