Deep in Pennsylvania this YouTuber uncovered a buried stock car and a mountain of rare vintage parts

A car enthusiast discovered a rare 1950s stock car in Pennsylvania that had been ‘sitting for a very long time’ as well as a bunch of vintage car parts.

The vintage stock car had been stashed away inside a garage alongside a bunch of classic car parts.

However, after years spent gathering dust, it was time for the car to go to a new home.

The owner of the vehicle got in touch with the team behind the IronTrap Garage YouTube channel, who were more than happy to help.

Rescuing a long-forgotten vehicle isn’t an unusual occurrence for the guys from IronTrap Garage

The car lovers have previously put this 1939 Ford Tudor back on the road after decades parked, and also unearthed this ultra-rare 1934 Ford Sedan Delivery in a barn in Virginia

Recently, the team headed out to Pennsylvania, where they got their hands on a cool 1950s stock car that had an interesting past.

After taking part in races during the 1950s, it was then given a restoration at some point in the 1970s or 1980s.

Following its restoration, it took part in some nostalgia races, but after that, it was parked up in a garage for a ‘very long time’.

Despite its time off the road, the old stock car wasn’t in bad shape and had even managed to hold onto most of its original parts.

Although it looked like the engine may have been a newer addition.

Removing the car from the garage was a delicate job due to its age and the fact that it hadn’t been moved in a long time, but the team managed to gently pull it from the garage and onto a trailer.

With more room inside the garage, the YouTubers were able to check out the haul of classic car parts and salvage anything they thought was worth it, including some very old Ford brakes and hubcaps.  YouTube Video

Now, IronTrap Garage plans to restore the once-stunning stock car to its former glory, and we can’t wait to see how it all turns out.

Here’s hoping it can make an appearance on the track one day soon. The post Deep in Pennsylvania this YouTuber uncovered a buried stock car and a mountain of rare vintage parts appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
