The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is a truly remarkable hypercar.

Unveiled in March 2020, the Pur Sport is a handling-focused, limited edition variant.

As is standard with Bugatti, the Chiron Pur Sport comes with an enormous rear wing.

And one influencer decided to test its strength – by standing on it.

March 2016 saw Bugatti unveil its successor to the iconic Veyron hypercar.

Having been in production since 2005, the Veyron needed a new successor.

And the Chiron stood in to take up the Bugatti mantle – and has been a smashing success.

March 2020 saw the release of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport – a super limited-edition variant.

Limited to just 60 units, the Chiron Pur Sport is a handling-focused variant of the sister car.

The French marque made several subtle but noticeable differences with the Chiron Pur Sport.

For one thing, the Pur Sport is 50kg lighter than the standard Chiron.

This is due to a lightweight, 3D-printed titanium exhaust and an extensive use of Alcantara.

One also finds a larger, wider front “horseshoe” grille compared to the regular Chiron.

Bugatti also developed special Sport Cup 2R tyres with Michelin itself.

The tyres increase lateral grip by 10 percent and increase handling stability.

One of the biggest features of the new Pur Sport is the fixed rear wing.

This rear wing exists to channel airflow and to improve downforce whilst driving.

A YouTuber/influencer recently decided to try and test the strength of the carbon fiber wing.

Alex Gonzalez, known as fxalexgytshorts on Instagram, owns a Chiron Pur Sport.

And, for reasons only known to the Almighty, he decided to stand on his carbon fiber rear wing.

Now, Alex is not what you might call a small human being; in fact, he’s on the more well-built side.

As you might imagine, you can hear the carbon fiber literally cracking beneath his feet.

We can’t even begin to imagine how expensive the repair of a Bugatti rear wing is.

But we don’t exactly think that it’s going to buff out in any way.The post American tried squatting on a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport’s rear wing and it ends exactly as you’d expect appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
