Dreams of owning a Chevy and a Dodge can come true with this Viper replica made from a Corvette

If you have ever dreamed of owning a Dodge Viper and a Chevy Corvette but can’t afford both, then this mashup might be for you.

This truly bizarre hybrid of Viper and Corvette looks like an AI creation, but it’s a real car that has appeared on Facebook Marketplace.

The creator of the mashup has given it an unusual name to suit its unusual appearance, and it does have mighty V8 power under the hood.

Whether or not hardcore enthusiasts approve of this mash-up, however, is very much open to debate.

The mashup is called the Corviperette

Fittingly, this unusual car has been called the Corviperette, which does suit the weird nature of this sports/muscle mashup.

What this actually is consists of a 1982 Chevrolet C3 Corvette, with a redesigned body to mimic the two cars.

Thanks to its Corvette underpinnings, the car comes with a 5.7-liter Cross-Fire V8 engine.

Added to that is its Atari-style digital dashboard and an automatic transmission.

The transmission might not appeal to enthusiasts, but it does give the seller a wide potential customer base.

As well as the V8, the listing also says the car has done just 71,000 miles and still runs.

The Corvette and Viper mashup is built from fiberglass

The car itself uses a fiberglass body, finished in yellow and black, and it certainly is something else.

The question we all want answered is whether this is a tasteful build or an absolute travesty?

In fairness to whoever built it, it appears to be a very neatly put-together with some striking proportions.

Even if you don’t like the car from an aesthetic point of view, you have to admire the quality of the build.

The car isn’t cheap, though, as it’ll set you back around $16,500 unless the seller is open to offers.

But that price makes it cheaper than buying either a Chevy Corvette or a Dodge Viper individually.

Plus, you do sort of get two for the price of one.

The seller asked the question “Ever wanted a Viper and a Corvette but only have one parking spot? Boom.”

If that doesn’t sell it to everyone, we don’t know what will. The post Dreams of owning a Chevy and a Dodge can come true with this Viper replica made from a Corvette appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
