First ever Tesla diner opens in LA with robot servers and movie screens

The Tesla Diner is finally open in Los Angeles, and it’s already using Optimus robot servers.

The diner features, well, a diner, but also movie screens, popcorn machines, and of course Tesla Superchargers.

It looks even better than expected.

The American brand has finally opened its long-awaited restaurant, simply called Tesla Diner, in Los Angeles.

It was first announced seven years ago, but construction only began a little over a year ago.

As we can see from the video shared by Sawyer Merritt on X, it looks halfway between a flying saucer and a diner from the 1950s, and we reckon that’s exactly what it was aiming for.

In addition to being a restaurant, the diner also features movie screens, just like old-school diners, Tesla Superchargers, and popcorn machines operated by Optimus robot servers.

Something else that makes Tesla Diner impressive

What makes Tesla Diner even more impressive is that the brand built it in record time.

The company, as per usual, began teasing the concept ages ago but then did nothing much for a while.

But when construction actually began in 2024, credit where credit’s due, it made rapid progress.

When we visited the site in November 2024, we found nothing but a few chargers and a building that was little more than a skeleton.

Just a few months later, the diner became fully operational and looks complete.

Just goes to show what can be done when a company puts its mind to it, right?
