A team of Americans turned a Bugatti Veyron into the ultimate 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback.
The YouTube team at Behind The Build bought a crash-damaged Bugatti Veyron for their modifications, but appearances can be deceiving.
The Veyron was a replica used in the Need for Speed movie, so it was never a real Veyron.
After finding the Need for Speed Bugatti, the team set about creating the ultimate widebody Mustang out of its shell and transforming it into a car any collector would want.

What happened to the Bugatti after the film
The Veyron replica was used in a supercar chase and race scene in the Need for Speed film.
A cop car took the Bugatti out of the race, and that was the end of that.
The car wasn’t used for filming after that, being sold to a man in Atlanta before the YouTuber bought it.
By 2025, the car was just a basic skeleton, with no bodywork and a stripped-out interior.
The original replica was built by Racecar Replicas, who gave the car an LS3 V8 engine, which has apparantly only been used for 30 minutes.
With the basic shell acquired, the real challenge was getting the Veyron turned into a Mustang ready for the SEMA show.
The finished Mustang looks nothing like its original form
The video is over three hours long, and at the end, we finally get to see the finished car.
After lots of work, the Mustang did make it to SEMA and went on display in the Holley Booth.
The car looked so different from when the team first acquired it.
It now has the iconic shape of the Ford Mustang.
An all-new widebody kit bulked up its appearance, and the finished car looked like it was always a Mustang.
The front has a massive new splitter and lip spoiler, creating a pointy and aggressive nose for the car.
Widebody wheel arches and quarter panels add to the drama, and its all-white paint finish gave the Mustang a touch of class.
It’s worlds away from the dummy Bugatti from Need for Speed and a credit to the team involved in its creation. The post How a Bugatti made for Hollywood became America’s wildest Mustang appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
