Images from this year’s Bugatti Grand Tour are like a sketch book come to life

What you’re looking at here are images from this year’s Bugatti Grand Tour America.

With over $80 million worth of cars, this is probably the most expensive convoy you’ll ever see.

The ‘Bugatti Grand Tour America’ is a yearly event the automaker organizes for its wealthy customers.

The idea is rather straightforward – it is essentially a multi-day joyride at the wheel of your Bugatti hypercar, along with other Bugatti owners and high-ranking PR people and execs from the brand.

As the name suggests, the Tour takes place in the US and it is dedicated to American Bugatti owners.

The location(s) chosen for this year’s event were Utah and Colorado, and the scenery was quite spectacular.

Partly because of the views, but also because of the cars.

The 608-mile, four-day trip begins in Utah.

The starting point for the 20 cars and their occupants is The Lodge at Blue Sky, a resort near Park City.

From there, the Bugattis drove all the way to the small town of Helper, in the middle of the desert, and then on the Ulum resort, which is located in the Moab desert.

The last section of the journey took the cars through challenging weather conditions before reaching the ‘finish line’ in Aspen, Colorado.

Anybody with a W16 Bugatti can register to participate which means that, unsurprisingly, most of the cars were Chirons, although we also spotted a Veyron and a Divo.

Nope, unfortunately the one-off La Voiture Noire didn’t make an appearance.

And nor did the Centodieci, the limited-edition (10 units only) Bugatti hypercar that Cristiano Ronaldo and nine other lucky collectors own.
