This US airline pilot revealed a clever hack to help ear pressure when flying, and it could change the way you travel forever.

Let’s face it, when flying, the takeoff and landing are two of the most dreaded parts due to a drop and an increase in pressure.

But, after taking this advice, your days of your ears being in pain will soon be over.

Plus, part of the hack doesn’t actually require anything that you aren’t already equipped with.

This US airline pilot revealed the ultimate hack to help ear pressure when flying

We’ve all been on a flight when our ears have popped and left us feeling really uncomfortable, both on takeoff and landing.

But don’t stress, as there’s a rather simple solution to popped, pressurized ears, and it doesn’t require much thought either.

One airline pilot, known as Captain Steeeve took to the internet to share a useful hack, and it works perfectly if you’re catching an early morning or even a late-night flight.

“When you’re climbing out on the initial climb out, yawn a lot,” he simply explained.

He also offered another part to the hack to help ear pressure too, and advised people to chew gum and children to suck on a bottle, which is simple enough too.

But, as we all know, the pressure can build when descending as well as launching up into the air, so the pilot candidly advised what to do upon landing.

“When you’re coming back down, that’s the most important part, it’s called the Valsalva maneuver.

“You hold your nose and then you blow into your nose like you’re going to blow your nose,” he further explained.

The key is to not blow too hard, though, and to simply ‘push pressure in until your ears equalize’.

Online, users were thankful for the pilot hack

After his hack to help with painful ear pressure was shared online, many aviation fans’ minds were simply blown.

“I used this trick on my flight recently. Thank you, Cpt Steeeve,” said one user.

“I like it when you’re descending and you forget that your ears are at pressure, and then all of a sudden you feel them pop and you can hear 10 times more clearly,” stated another person.

“I wish I had seen this video one month ago. It was painful and I felt like I was the only one that’s feeling it at the time,” added a third.

US airline pilot Captain Steeeve isn’t shy about dishing out advice.

For example, he recently revealed why the plane feels like it’s sinking after takeoff, and it will surprise you.

He also claimed that if you can drive a car, you can fly a plane and explained why.
