The new Ford Mustang GTD is finally beginning to ship worldwide.
With only 2,000 available, the American road-legal sports car has seen celebrity editions land first.
None other than supercar expert Jay Leno has become one of the first to receive the Mustang, and he’s already flexing one of the coolest features out there.

Jay Leno is already out flexing his new Ford Mustang GTD
Slated as the most aggressive Mustang ever made, the new GTD has already set record times around Germany’s Nürburgring, showing off just how impressive it really is.
But it’s also quite the looker, too, with some of the custom paint jobs and limited-edition variants using the racetrack as a catwalk to show off.
One of these is the pearlescent blue Ford Mustang GTD hand-delivered to Jay Leno by the CEO, Jim Farley.
After showcasing the car on his YouTube channel last week, Leno wasted no time in putting some miles on the clock, as he took the chance to slip out and show it off at a car meet.
Highlighted on YouTube by Speedster404, Leno rocked up to a Supra meet, and he allowed the supercar fanatics to get a close-up look at the rare sports car.
But while many people are instantly attracted to listening to the roar of the signature 5.2L supercharged V8 engine, Leno was more interested in showing people an unexpected feature.
The best part of the GTD is unexpected
After arriving at the meet, Leno directed people to the rear of his car.
“Now you’ve got to check out the rear suspension. Look in the window,” he said.
The rear suspension can be seen through the window, coiled up and ready to handle the thrust of over 800HP.
Leno isn’t the only celeb to be impressed by the American sports car, of course.
Popular Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen had journalist Chris Harris hanging on for dear life as he threw it around a track, loving every second of it.
Shelby isn’t stopping here either, as a new Mustang is set to be unveiled this month. The post Jay Leno wanted people to check out one thing on his new Ford Mustang GTD as he showed up uninvited at car meet appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
