Lake Como, arguably the prettiest town in Europe, was shut down this weekend as the rarest supercars on Earth gathered to pose for pictures.
While the latest supercars all flocked to Monaco to show off their roaring engines in front of the superyachts for the Grand Prix, classic European supercar holders decided to have a show of their own.
Taking place in Italy, this meet was a mixture of vintage beauty and modern-day class, with Ferrari, McLaren, and other European giants at the forefront.
And it was all captured by one YouTube vlogger.

Supercar heritage runs deep in Europe, given that some of the world’s largest brands hail from the UK, Germany, Italy, and France.
So when it’s time to flex its muscles, Europe goes all out the finest supercar meets on the planet.
Previously, we’ve seen brand-centralized clubs like this exclusive Porsche parade. Others, though, allow for people to swap and change Lambo and Ferrari keys on the outskirts of London.
This time, the finest sets of wheels on the continent have gathered at Lake Como, one of the most iconic towns in Italy.
Highlighted on YouTube by DrivewithRoy, the meet took over Lake Como for an entire weekend. They flooded the streets with car fanatics before posing at some pristine locations.
Some of the rarest supercars on display included:
- McLaren F1 GTR
- Ferrari 599 GTO
- Ferrari F40 LM
- Maserati MC12 Corsa
- Bugatti EB110
- Ferrari 499P – Le Mans winner
- Pagani Huayra Imola
- Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
Other iconic oldies were also on display, particularly Ferrari’s catalogue of old race cars.
In addition, the Canadian vlogger behind the camera even noticed some fabled American cars, which is quite the feat. Supercars very rarely cross the Atlantic.
A Dodge Viper ACR was the pick of the bunch, in that regard.
Considering this is just a short hop over from Monaco, which is currently housing stupendous supercars itself on the backdrop of the F1 Grand Prix, it feels like a fun time to be a ‘petrolhead’ in Europe. The post Lake Como was shut down this weekend for the rarest supercars on Earth appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
