Neymar paid $1.5 million to buy this Batmobile replica but he’ll never be able to drive it

Soccer star Neymar spent a fortune on a DIY Batmobile replica he’ll never be able to drive.

Based on The Dark Knight’s Tumbler, Neymar’s Batmobile looks spectacular.

More to the point, it’s a very faithful replica of the original vehicle from The Dark Knight trilogy.

There’s only one tiny issue, though.

The reason why Neymar won’t be able to drive his Batmobile

Neymar’s Batmobile replica was designed by Adhemar Cabral, a Brazilian automotive designer, and it looks exactly like the original Tumbler that was used in The Dark Knight trilogy.

It’s wide, low to the ground, and it even features the Tumbler’s signature dual arms connected to the front wheels.

Under the hood, you’ll find a V8 that’s capable of producing up to 500 horsepower.

It all sounds great, except for the fact this $1.5 million car is not street-legal.

We don’t know when or where Neymar intends to drive it, but maybe he’s not going to drive it at all, maybe he just wanted a cool thing to put in his garage or park on his balcony.

Then again he can afford it.

Neymar went back to Santos, his boyhood club, after spending most of his career (and making a fortune) in Europe before briefly joining Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

He has a net worth of around $350 million, so $1.5 million was really just a drop in the bucket for him.

One of the most popular movie vehicles ever made

The Batmobile is definitely one of the most famous movie vehicles ever made.

Interestingly, there have been many different versions of it, and they all look different.

Tim Burton’s Batmobile is one of the most popular iterations, which explains why so many people create DIY versions of it.

The Tumbler, the one used by Christian Bale as Batman in The Dark Knight trilogy, is also particularly loved by fans, and also quite DIY-friendly.

There are also DIY Batmobiles that combine elements from different versions.

SBX Cars also offered one of the most epic replicas for sale.
