According to the National Weather Service Weather Prediction Center, a life-threatening, potentially historic flash flood event begins Wednesday, April 2, for the Lower Ohio Valley and Mid-South. A tornado outbreak is expected on Wednesday for the Mid-South, with multiple intense tornadoes possible, prompting a rare “high” risk (level 5 out of 5) severe weather outlook to be issued.
Potential for severe weather continues Wednesday night from north Texas to the Great Lakes, including cities like Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Little Rock, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville, and Dallas-Fort Worth.
