After paying $281K for a Lamborghini Huracán Performante, this new supercar owner decided to get a WeBuyAnyCar valuation three days later, and he’d already lost a wild amount.
It’s no myth that cars depreciate the second you leave the dealership.
But in the case of this Lamborghini Huracán, the owner was only expecting to have a slight knockdown on his $281k supercar.
But out of sheer curiosity, he got a valuation from WeBuyAnyCar and was left shortchanged by a huge amount.

WeBuyAnyCar cut $281k Lamborghini Huracán Performante down by a quarter
The Lamborghini Huracán is one of the most popular supercars out there. So it’s no surprise that people are looking to get hold of these rip-roaring beasts as cheaply as possible.
But, unless you can win giveaways from the likes of MrBeast and Travis Scott, you’re looking at paying north of $250k.
That was the case for Harley Perkins, a social media personality who forked out £210k ($281k) on a bright green Lamborghini Huracán Performante.
But the 13,000-mile supercar appears to have already lost a huge some of money in depreciation.
That’s if WeBuyAnyCar is to be believed.
In an upload on YouTube, the Lamborghini Huracán Performante owner took his new supercar to be valued in one of the pop-up shops.
But he was in for a shock as the second-hand car platform quoted his car at £157k ($210k). That’s a good $70,000 short of what he paid.
The YouTube personality understood that this was a markdown on what it’s actually worth, knowing that the company will be looking to make ‘a $20,000’ profit. But he was still surprised that it was so low.
Supercar owners continue to get short-changed at quick-cash car sites
Funnily enough, this isn’t the only Lamborghini to be undercut at a site like WeBuyAnyCar, as UK mechanic Mat Armstrong recently took his Revuelto to CarWow.
He was shocked to find that the supercharged rebuilt car was only worth $600k.
It’s not just supercars, though, as a Tesla Model Y driver was shocked at what he was quoted too.
