This man, who loves driving gas cars, has shared the key difference that makes getting a Tesla Model 3 a ‘no-brainer’.
After years spent in gas-powered cars, he decided to make the leap of faith over to an EV.
After driving about in a Tesla Model 3 daily for a while, he’s happy with his decision.
But it’s all down to one factor that made it an easy decision.

The ‘no-brainer’ reason why this man bought a Tesla Model 3
YouTuber Dan Latham is a self-confessed petrolhead, but he made the big jump over to EV recently, and it’s all down to one reason.
You’ve probably already guessed it.
“I was spending £200-£300 ($272- $408) a month in fuel, and that’s pretty much my finance bill on this,” he explained.
“It’s almost free motoring because I charged this last night and it cost me £5 ($6.81) to get a full charge out of it, and I’m showing a current range estimate of over 300 miles. It’s just a bit of a no-brainer, isn’t it really.”
The YouTuber detailed how, even though he still enjoys darting around in petrol cars, as far as daily drivers go – he’s hit the jackpot with his new Tesla EV.
“As a day-to-day driver, this is absolutely ideal for me,” he concluded.
Tesla still dominates the EV sphere
Tesla is often the go-to when electric vehicles spring to mind.
The US-based company has a varied fleet of cars – from daily drivers including the Model 3 to the ever-talked-about pickup, the Cybertruck.
Car enthusiasts have spent ages putting the cars to the test themselves, reviewing their performance as well as how the cars feel to drive.
For example, an 82-year-old retired bus driver tried Tesla’s full self-driving mode for the first time and gave his honest reaction.
Plus, an American car dealer who believes that people ‘aren’t told the truth’ about Tesla decided to set the record straight.
But, as far as switching from gas to electric-powered cars for a daily driver, this guy has you covered.
