This 1-of-60 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport has been spotted on Miami Copart, but supercar expert Mat Armstrong has revealed the shocking price of mundane parts that it would need to be fixed.

Well, it was nearly a 1-of-59 state for the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, as one of the $6m supercars has been into a bit of mischief.

But the crash-damaged vehicle is now being auctioned off to a new home, in the hope that a new owner has the pennies and resourceful engineering to give it a new lease of life.

Now, famed supercar restoration expert Mat Armstrong has weighed in, noting the wild expense for simple parts like headlights.

1-of-60 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport found on Copart has some serious damage

Bugattis are naturally phenomenally expensive supercars.

Base costs to keep them maintained are through the roof, and there’s only a handful of parts that can be sourced for cheap and not directly from the French manufacturer.

The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is no different, as one man found out trying to replace a key fob.

However, this Chiron needs more than one simple replacement, as its entire front end has been crashed.

Owned by popular supercar enthusiast Alex Gonzalez, who previously cracked the rear wing in a squatting stunt, the car has extensive damage.

In a recent Instagram reel, he said, “This is what rock bottom looks like.”

But now the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is set to go up for auction on Copart, and it’s attracted serious interested parties.

Mat Armstrong gives damning expenses breakdown

Taking to TikTok, famed restoration expert Mat Armstrong noted that he will be looking at getting the car on auction, although the expected costs are wild.

For headlights alone, the costs are $150,000, as they need to be bought directly from Bugatti.

But there’s a lot more to come.

“This car needs two wings, it needs a bumper, it needs a bonnet,” he said.

“On the inside, the airbags are deployed, and because they are deployed, the car probably won’t run because the pyro fuse has been cut out.”

But the famed W16 engine was still intact, which will be worth millions alone.

The auction price is currently unknown, as it has yet to be assigned a lot number.

But Copart will be firing it up soon, where people will be looking at getting a super cheap Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, but with a few hundred thousand dollars’ worth of problems. The post Mat Armstrong sees 1-of-60 Chiron Pur Sport on Miami Copart then realizes price of replacing two headlights appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
