The owner of a 105-year-old $410k stolen Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost has offered nearly $3,000 for the return of the stolen car after it went missing while he slept.
The stolen Rolls-Royce belongs to millionaire car enthusiast Bryan Fitton. He has described how it was stolen from the grounds of an Essex hotel in Britain.
It was spirited away while Fitton was sleeping soundly in his bed, and it left him devastated as he woke up to find it gone. We covered the story not long after it first broke.
Now, though, the millionaire owner is hoping someone can recover his stolen Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost from 1920. Bryan Fitton is now offering a $2,700 reward for its safe return.

How the theft of the stolen Rolls-Royce unfolded
Fitton had traveled from his home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, to head to Tilbury Docks.
His Silver Ghost was to join 25 other Rolls-Royce cars from the pre-war era on a ferry bound for Helsinki in Finland.
He and his friends were then going on a Rolls-Royce rally from Finland through Sweden, Latvia, and Estonia.
Fitton was staying at the Orsett Hall Hotel near Grays in Essex from Wednesday night into Thursday.
It was during that night that the car vanished, as did the years Fitton had spent restoring the Silver Ghost.
Given that starting the 1920 car is a lengthy procedure, the thieves seemingly made off with the whole trailer that the car was mounted on.
The Rolls-Royce’s recovery will result in a reward
Fitton had owned the Rolls-Royce for over two decades, having bought it at an auction.
He then spent years restoring it and took it all over Europe to countries including France, Italy, and Poland.
The car had become a part of the family, and naturally, he was devastated to see it be stolen like this.
Essex Police have now launched an investigation into the theft of the classic car.
Its owner is now offering $2,700 for anyone who can find the car and have it returned to him.
Only 8,000 of these Silver Ghosts were built from 1907 to 1926.
The theft made national news in Britain, with the BBC reporting on the story.
Hopefully, someone can find the stolen car and bring it back to its rightful home and owner. The post Millionaire offering $2.7k for the return of 105-year-old $410k stolen Rolls-Royce that was stolen while he slept appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
