Over $30 million worth of exclusive hypercars are up for auction at Monterey Car Week 2025

Monterey Car Week 2025 gets underway this weekend, and there are some absolutely incredible supercars and hypercars set to go under the hammer.

The legendary Monterey Car Week kicks off today (August 8) and runs through to Saturday, August 17. 

As ever, there’s set to be some jaw-dropping cars on display. 

Meanwhile, the iconic Bonhams auction is set to take place, with Bugatti, Pagani, Koenigsegg, and Ferrari models on offer.

There are some incredible cars up for sale at Monterey Car Week 2025

The annual event is a highlight of the year for car lovers, and Monterey Car Week 2025 is set to be no exception. 

The event is an opportunity for carmakers to unveil new models, like Shelby, which has teased a brand-new Mustang. 

It’s also a chance for car collectors and enthusiasts to snap up some incredible motors at Bonham’s The Quail Auction. 

This year, the cars on offer are worth more than $30 million and include this personal collection of classics belonging to a US businessman. 

There are also a bunch of supercars and hypercars going under the hammer, including a 1,500 horsepower 2020 Bugatti Divo with just 745 miles on the clock, estimated to sell for between $7 million and $8.9 million, and a 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster powered by a 765hp AMG V12, that is expected to raise bids of between $3.1 million and $3.6 million. 

Elsewhere, you can bid on a 2021 Koenigsegg Regera that is like-new and has done fewer than 100 miles; and a one-of-10 ‘Ocean Dragon’ Apollo Intensa Emozione that is expected to fetch up to $3.5 million. 

There’s also a handful of customized vehicles, including a Mansory Rolls-Royce Spectre. 

And if vintage vehicles are more your thing, then keep an eye out for the 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2.

What else is happening at Monterey Car Week?

Alongside The Quail Auction, Monterey Car Week 2025 has a packed program of events for car lovers to get stuck into, including the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and A Motorsports Gathering. 

There’s also vintage racing at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the Porsche Monterey Classic event, and the Quail Rally. 

There will also be new car launches, and a chance for automakers to showcase one-off models and special-edition vehicles.
