At some times, it lands on multiple rankings, and in other instances, it ekes out just enough purchases to appear on one or two tallies. Last frame, one of the bestselling albums of all time in America was pushed off the rankings by a slew of Record Store Day releases, making it the relatively uncommon moment when the set isn’t present on at least one roster. Now that almost all of those exclusive titles have vacated the competitive lists in the United States, there’s room once again for albums that can be relied on to appear almost every frame. That includes The Dark Side of the Moon. Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon Returns This week, the blockbuster release reappears on just two Billboard charts. The Dark Side of the Moon is back at No. 22 on the Vinyl Albums list. It also comes in at No. 30 on the Top Album Sales chart, which ranks all purchases, not just those on vinyl. Luminate reports that in the past tracking frame, The Dark Side of the Moon sold a little more than 2,600 copies in the U.S., though how those are spread between CDs and vinyl records was not shared by the music industry organization.
