Lufthansa Technik has designed the most luxurious business jet in the sky.

The company has spared no expense, creating this with Middle Eastern royalty in mind.

Boeing’s BBJ 777-9 is set to be the private jet of choice for the ultra-wealthy.

The plane features a ‘cocoon’ room, the largest shower ever seen on a private jet, and a huge entourage area.

The plane was announced in 2018 and will officially be operational in 2025.

Boeing and Lufthansa Technik have paired up and unveiled their VVIP cabin concept for the jet.

Lufthansa Technik is known for its opulent designs and this concept, dubbed the CelestialSTAR, is no different.

The jetliner is set to cost $400 million, with Emirates securing the very first model that will take flight.

With a living space that covers more than 3,600 square feet, this is one of the largest luxury planes in service.

It’s likely an aircraft like this will be bought and used by governments and royal families.

One of the features that set this plane apart is the private suite.

Here the owner of the plane can rest easy on their king-size bed and take a rain and massage shower in the sky.

This can also become a ‘cocoon’: an area that can be totally closed off to create a self-contained retreat.

The curved doors of the cocoon are also a 180-degree screen

This can be used as a television or to project images of the next travel destination to minimize jet lag.

Next to this suite is a multifunctional room kitted out with swivel chairs, couches, coffee tables and a mechanism that makes the doors seem to disappear into the wall.

At the heart of the plane is the conference and dining room.

Lufthansa Technik especially designed this room to meet the requirements of majlis, Middle Eastern gatherings, to cater to the predicted clientele.

The conference table comfortably seats 11 people in swivel chairs, while the table has monitors that fold away to transform the business area into a dining room.

The first half of the plane is dedicated to luxurious comfort, but the second half looks surprisingly like a normal plane.

Much like a regular plane, there are deluxe suites, a business class section as well as 36 ‘economy’ seats.

This is referred to as the ‘entourage area’, where staff and personnel can sit.

No doubt anyone who could afford a plane like this would be traveling with a huge entourage in tow.The post Take a look inside the one-of-a-kind cabin for Boeing’s $400 million private jet appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
