We heard the sad news yesterday that the late, great Ozzy Osbourne passed away at 76 years old, but did you know that he owned some incredibly cool cars during his chaotic life?

We can’t say that there’ll be No More Tears over the passing of one of the greats. But as a tribute to him, we’re going to take a look back at his history of incredibly cool cars because he was something of a gearhead.

While he was a bit late to the game driving-wise, well, legally anyway, only getting his license in his 60s, the Prince of Darkness always loved a snazzy supercar.

His first auto was a surprisingly down-to-earth, reliable little daily driver which hardly matches his iconic legacy, or the aesthetics of Black Sabbath.

Like all celebrities, Ozzy Osbourne had some amazing autos in his collection.

A surprising inclusion in the Black Sabbath singer’s awesome car collection was an optional mid-mount V10-engined, white Audi R8.

It’s not only fast, but it also looks really cool, too. It was one of the later-in-life luxury cars he bought himself.

Even though he had a chaotic life, Ozzy picked quite a classy, sleek, and sophisticated ride in the form of an Aston Martin Vantage. Who knows, maybe he fancied himself as a bit of a James Bond?

This intimidating car makes total sense when you think of the Prince of Darkness, a V12-engine-powered black Rolls-Royce Phantom – another luxury British car brand, and the hulking Phantom can kick out 500hp.

Does anyone remember that time that Ozzy famously crashed a gorgeous supercar immediately after passing his driving test?

His classic red Ferrari 458 Italia suffered this unfortunate fate. It’s crazy that his first ride after legally passing his driving test was a 560hp supercar, but that’s classic Ozzy.

Back in the day, Ozzy’s first ever ride, just when Black Sabbath was getting popular, was an old reliable Volvo 240 Wagon. Sometimes the most reliable cars are the best ones to build an iconic heavy metal legacy on.
