Rolls-Royce unveils one-of-a-kind floral Spectre for luxury event in Britain

Rolls-Royce unveiled a new one-off Spectre painted in Velvet Orchid for the Chelsea Flower Show.

The car is inspired by flowers, believe it or not.

It was designed as a tribute to a very specific event in London.

But there’s one thing about it that’s not clear.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre in Velvet Orchid was unveiled in London for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The show is all about flowers, which explains this vehicle’s ‘flowerful’ colorway.

It’s painted in a special hue of purple/pink that Rolls-Royce calls ‘Velvet Orchid’, with a hand-painted ‘Peony Pink’ coachline.

The automaker didn’t say anything about the engine, which means this EV is powered by the same dual-motor electric powertrain as the one Supercar Blondie’s Alex Hirschi herself recently acquired.

The engine produces 577 horsepower and 664lb-ft in its standard form, or 650 horsepower and 793lb-ft of torque for the Black Badge variant.

This, by the way, makes it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever.

Also, on a side note, Alex’s Spectre will soon be even more powerful than that, considering the vehicle is currently being transformed by Mansory.

The Spectre starts at around $400,000-$500,000, depending on how you spec it.

The MSRP in the United States is $397,750, but you can rapidly bring it up to half a million or more with extras.

In some cases, you can easily dip into the seven-figure region.

As for the flower-inspired Spectre, it’s unclear whether the luxury manufacturer intends to sell this pink model or not. Maybe they simply built it for the show and will keep it in a museum.

This specific Spectre appears to be a bespoke creation for the Chelsea Floral Art event, not a car built on commission for a specific client.

Either way, we’re certainly glad it’s here. The post Rolls-Royce unveils one-of-a-kind floral Spectre for luxury event in Britain appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
