This $100M Bugatti factory in Italy built the EB110 and now it’s completely abandoned

This $100M Bugatti factory in Campogalliano, Italy built the EB110 and now it’s completely abandoned – it looks very strange and eerie.

This cutting-edge facility was built to revive the Bugatti brand in the 1980s, but after economic struggles in the 90s, the factory produced less than 150 EB110 supercars.

Adventurers decided to go inside the abandoned factory and it looks like it was abandoned right in the middle of a normal production day.

The whole aesthetic of the architecture is incredibly brutalist and looks like a normal day in the1990s was frozen in time in the middle.

Inside an abandoned $100M Bugatti factory

Bugatti needed a revival in the late 1980s and so entrepreneur Romano Artioli decided to build a cutting-edge plant in Campogalliano, Italy.

The amazing factory cost $100M to build and was exclusively for making EB110s.

At the time it opened, it was absolutely state of the art, built in a very 1990s Brutalist style.

Unfortunately for the company, they faced economic struggles in the 90s, the factory produced less than 150 EB110 supercars.

It was abandoned mid work day and half built cars still remained on production lines, it was essentially frozen in time.

Frozen in time

Rick Ranger TV, a YouTube explorer, decided to take a look inside the abandoned factory and it was like stepping back into the 1990s; the enormous factory was littered with half-finished cars and paint barrels.

One of the most amazing things he found was a rotating brutalist show podium for showing off the amazing supercars.

It is a sad remnant of a time long past, and it feels eerie seeing it completely empty and devoid of people.

The YouTuber even went into the office spaces which were built to overlook production areas and it’s disappointing such a beacon of productivity was completely abandoned.
