We put a $3,000 fake Chinese Lexus against a real one in a handling test and there was a surprising twist

You’ve already seen team Supercar Blondie’s unboxing of the fake Chinese Lexus, aka the ‘Cexus’, but how did the $ 3,000 replica fare against the real Lexus LX600 in a cone-slalom handling test?

The fake SUV completed the cone slalom without knocking over any cones, showing decent agility for its price and size, and when compared to the real Lexus LX600.

One drawback was that it lacked power steering, with the maneuvering physically leaving the driver ‘fighting for his life’, plus a lack of seat belts raised some serious red-flag safety concerns.

While the real deal knocked over a few cones, that could be due to the driver’s overconfidence and speed – what’s more, it’s far more powerful and easier to control than its Chinese homage.
