Dreame Technology, best known for creating robot vacuum cleaners, is venturing into the automotive industry with a luxury EV it hopes will rival Bugatti and Bentley.
Chances are, you’re unfamiliar with the name Dreame Technology, unless you’ve ever bought one of its robotic vacuum cleaners or hair dryers.
But the Chinese brand is hoping to change all of that after launching a car division known as Dreame Auto.
Now, it is gearing up to build its first vehicle and has released a sneak peek of what we can expect.

Is Dreame set to switch from sweeping floors to sweeping away the competition?
There are some pretty exciting cars coming out of China at the moment, particularly when it comes to EVs, with the likes of the new BYD 3,000-horsepower Yangwang U9 02 and the Xiaomi YU7, which has proved so popular that the marque’s CEO has urged folks to buy rival brands unless they can handle a long wait.
Now, Dreame Auto is stepping into the arena with its very first EV.
Renderings shared by the company reveal a four-door sedan that appears to have taken heavy inspiration from the Bugatti Chiron.
In fact, insiders have said that the car has actually been internally codenamed ‘Dreame Bugatti’.
The newly released rendering shows that the car’s doors all open upwards, while the rear doors have rear hinges, and it has no B-pillar.
The hood features two vents and a broad grille with rounded edges.
According to reports, the concept car will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January.
The car will be available as both an all-electric and as an extended range hybrid option.
The burgeoning carmaker has set itself some lofty ambitions, with reports suggesting it hopes to rival Bugatti and set some new speed records.
The Chinese carmaker has already announced a subdivision

Although it’s early days for the company’s automotive plans, it has already announced it will be splitting its car-making operation into two divisions.
Firstly, Dreame Auto, which is set to focus on the Bugatti-look-alike above and hopes to smash speed records.
And, secondly, Starry Sky Autos, which will be building cars to rival the likes of Rolls-Royce and Bentley.
It seems as though this could be a name to watch in the coming months. The post Dreame the vacuum maker is targeting Bentley and Bugatti with its first ultra-luxury EV set for 2027 appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
