A woman got behind the wheel of a BMW M4 and realized she couldn’t drive the sports saloon without pressing this one button.

American TikTok user Harrley Quinn posted on her account (@m2facced). She said she can’t drive her M4 without pressing the M Mode button first for a good reason.

This wasn’t to say the button needs pressing for the car to drive at all. But rather, what Quinn felt was appropriate before you drive the M4.

Naturally, being posted on social media, a lot of people flooded the comments to say how they felt about what she was doing.

How Quinn feels you should drive a BMW M4

Quinn used quotes from Rick and Morty to back up her point about the sports car.

She posted an amusing video on her TikTok to explain her feelings.

She lip-synced to the Rick Sanchez line: “There is nothing I cannot do.”

She then flips the camera to the M4’s steering wheel.

That revealed the ‘Drive your car without M Mode’ text overlay.

Morty replied with: “Just say you can’t do it.”

Quinn flips the camera back to herself and says, mimicking Sanchez’s response: “I won’t.”

What Quinn is saying is that she just can’t drive her M4 without activating M Mode, as it wouldn’t feel right.

The car is, after all, a very powerful BMW M4.

How did others feel about the M Mode debate?

There are other reasons to drive the car exclusively in M Mode.

Doing so unlocks so much more performance for the car, and various modes that allow the driver to customize it to their heart’s content.

A simple touch of the button can turn the car from a fairly comfortable and relaxing sports saloon into something that feels like a Formula 1 car with a roof, akin to the M4 GT car.

That is how much of a transformation this one button can give to the sports saloon.

Some disagreed with Quinn on this, while a lot of people also felt she was right to run with just M Mode on.
