You know the Dodge Viper. Now imagine one that’s been stripped, reworked, and rebuilt into something even more spectacular – and by Henrik Fisker and former GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz, no less.
The result? A carbon fiber missile with enough grunt to shove you into next week.
And unless you’re a deep-cut car enthusiast, you’ve probably never even heard of it.
It’s called the VLF Force 1 V10, and even among hardcore gearheads, it’s practically a ghost.

The one-of-five American supercar created from a Dodge Viper
The VLF Force 1 started life as a Dodge Viper before getting an all-carbon makeover from Fisker.
The 8.4L V10 got cranked from 645 horsepower to an insane 745 horsepower, good for a top speed of 218mph and a 0–60 time of about three seconds.
The one in the video? Red interior, looking like it just rolled out of a dream garage.
Only five were ever built, making it rarer than most hypercars.
Everything about the Force 1 screams ‘American muscle, European tailoring.’
Sharp Fisker lines. Low-slung Viper stance. Available with either a proper six-speed manual or a paddle-shift auto.
And yet, despite the pedigree, it slipped through the cracks while the rest of the world was drooling over hybrids and hypercars.
The internet is finally taking notice
Captain Crankshaft’s post lit up the comments with ‘Where has this been all my life?’ energy.
“Was so fortunate to see a convertible one several years ago,” one fan wrote, while another said “Anything ‘Fisker’ looks incredible”.
Others swore it looked like the Burnout Revenge starter car or an Asphalt 9 unlock. A few clocked it as a stealth rival to the Ferrari F12 and Corvette ZR1.
The Force 1 was raw, fast, and almost forgotten. Now it’s back on timelines and lodged firmly in the minds of anyone whose algorithm it lands on.
For five lucky owners, it’s a 745-horsepower unicorn. For everyone else? A new late-night rabbit hole to dive into. The post You’ve probably never heard of this 1-of-5 American supercar born from a Dodge Viper and created by a GM exec appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
