110-year-old Harley-Davidson hasn’t been started since 2013 but is to sell for $100,000

This Harley-Davidson 11F dates back to 1915 and hasn’t been started in more than a decade, but experts reckon it could sell for as much as $100,000.

When it comes to motorcycles, few brands are as well-known and beloved as Harley-Davidson.

And if you’re in the market for a classic, then you really don’t need to look much further than this 110-year-old bike.

But if you are interested, you’ll need deep pockets as it’s estimated to sell for up to $100,000.

The vintage Harley-Davidson 11F has had a full restoration

Vintage Harley-Davidsons can be hard to come by, although this guy unearthed a 1950s model inside an abandoned storage unit he bought for less than $1,000.

And if classic bikes are your thing, then you may be interested to learn more about this 110-year-old example that’s set to go under the hammer on Saturday, August 16, during Monterey Car Week

The 11F bike comes with a 61-cubic–inch V-twin engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission.

The engine is just shy of 40 percent more powerful than the 1914 models, thanks to larger inlet valves, and the 11F is considered a real turning point in Harley-Davidson history

More than a century on from when it was created, this 11F is in top-notch condition and underwent a full restoration in 2013 by Harley-Davidson specialist Dave Fusiak.

It’s finished in authentic Harley-Davidson colors for 1915 and includes a handful of ‘one-year-only features’, including unique cylinders, frame, arms, and rocker towers.

It also has a period-accurate luggage rack and a klaxon manual horn.

The Harley-Davidson hasn’t been started since its restoration and is a real collector’s piece.

Due to its age, heritage, and condition, the motorbike is expected to sell for between $75,000 and $100,000 at auction next weekend.

The custom bike was unveiled back in May.

It’s built on the Harley-Davidson Sportster S platform, known for its aggressive styling and powerful performance.

But it has been given a Doom-inspired twist and features glowing LEDs, neon accents, and dragon wing light projections. The post 110-year-old Harley-Davidson hasn’t been started since 2013 but is to sell for $100,000 appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
