A new Aston Martin Vantage S has been unveiled ahead of its public debut at Goodwood in the UK.
The new boss is the same as the old boss, but better.
It has more power, a better chassis, and it’s faster.
But there’s one thing Aston Martin failed to mention.

What customers can expect from the new Aston Martin Vantage S
The British marque revealed the new Aston Martin Vantage S ahead of its public debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK on July 10.
The supercar uses the same AMG-sourced 4.0-liter V8 as the outgoing variant, but it now produces 671hp, up from 656hp in the previous model.
Aston has also retuned the chassis and the throttle to get even more out of it in terms of performance.
Speaking of which, this supercar can now do 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds, and the top speed is 202mph – or 325kmh.
Interestingly, but perhaps not surprisingly, the price tag hasn’t been revealed yet.
The standard Aston Martin Vantage starts at just under $200,000, so we can expect to pay a bit more for the new Vantage S.
Why Aston Martin chose Goodwood Festival of Speed
Now that ‘static’ car shows are either dead – see Geneva – or dying away, automakers are often using dynamic events such as Goodwood or Villa d’Este to unveil their new creations.
Praga, for example, picked Goodwood as the ideal location to hand over some customer cars, and BMW chose Villa d’Este in Italy to unveil a new model.
Gordon Murray did the same thing when he picked Goodwood to unveil its new hypercar.
We’re probably going to see more of this in the future.
