Ever wondered what happens to all the cars that don’t sell?

Do they wake up in the night like an armada from Toy Story?

Or do they rot in an abandoned dealership in Chicago until the end of time? Well…

It’s not an unusual sight to see abandoned cars in the wild, but many are usually verging on the un-repairable, like old vintage barns.

But every now and again, people come across random dealerships that closed suddenly, and the many cars were sentenced to a life behind closed doors.

Even Bugatti has one

But this particular abandoned dealership in Chicago was recently found by explorer and YouTuber Urbex Ashton, and its endless shop floor full of Mercedes, Porsches, and Jaguars was left to rust.

The YouTuber documented his arrival at the dealership. He originally arrived at night, using a flashlight to uncover a range of European sedans.

First up on the list was a rare Mercedes 300 SL, which was in near-perfect condition. More Jags and BMWs flanked it, while there were also RVs and SUVs visible in the distance.

After returning the next day in the heavy rain, the abandoned dealership clearly wasn’t stopping the heavy downpour from hitting the cars.

Unfortunately, many of these cars were growing mold, presumably caused by the lack of cover.

This mass of cars was estimated to be worth more than one million dollars in total.

Some of the other notable models on display were a Volkswagen Beetle, a Mitsubishi Pajero, some Yamaha motorbikes, and a Volkswagen Westfalia campervan.

Unfortunately for this collection of European imports, they haven’t been sprinkled with the same pixie dust as Disney heroes to awaken and drive off themselves. The post Chicago’s abandoned dealership hides million-dollar cars in near perfect condition appeared first on Supercar Blondie.
